This article examines the diverse land resources of the Nizhneomsky Municipal District of Omsk Oblast. The district covers an area of 335,396 hectares, 78% of which is agricultural land, demonstrating its agricultural specialization. The soil quality score ranges from 44 to 75 throughout the district, with an average humus content of 5.0 to 5.9%. Saline, solonetzic, and waterlogged soils predominate, while saline meadow soils, along with solonetz meadow soils, account for 25%. The predominant area is occupied by excessively moist lands with a long-term regime (148,978.9 hectares). The suitability of the soils for growing agricultural crops subject to degradation processes has been established. To more effectively manage land resources in the Nizhneomsky Municipal District, three land productivity zones have been established. Proposals for further use have been developed for each zone, which will optimize agricultural production and ensure the rational use of land resources.
