In accordance with the Federal Law "On Amendments to the Federal Law "On Land Reclamation" and Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation" dated 06/13/2023 No. 244-FZ [7], as well as government resolutions and orders, all possible financial support is provided for the development of land reclamation in the regions. With the help of additional financing, measures in the field of land reclamation will be implemented in these territories on an area of more than 9,5 thousand hectares. Hydro-reclamation, cultural, agroforestry and phytomelioration activities will be carried out, as well as activities in the field of liming acidic soils on arable land. This will expand the fund of agricultural lands, which in turn will ensure the sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex and will serve to achieve the goals of food security of the country. Effective agricultural production in steppe areas where there is insufficient moisture from precipitation, with sufficient heat supply, one of the main factors in increasing crop yields is hydro-reclamation.
