The article discusses the problem of SDW utilization in Russia, compares existing types of utilization and identifies the most effective type of solid waste utilization. The following types of reclamation that are the most widespread in Russia are subject to consideration: burial at the landfill, a method for disposing of solid waste through incineration, as well as processing of solid waste with the allocation of useful fractions. The analysis is carried out with the help of the most evident types of efficiency analysis.
