The article considers the problem of registration of medical devices, distribution is planned through state procurement activity. State procurement activity plays an important role in medicine, by the stability of the procurement mechanism depends on the life and health of citizens. In connection with the entry into force of the Decree of the RF Government dated February 5, 2015 № 102 «On establishing the tolerance limits of certain types of medical devices originating from foreign countries for the purposes of procurement for state and municipal needs», providers of health care institutions more often began to supply products of domestic manufacturers. However, the majority of imported goods still don’t have analogues of domestic production. An important role in this issue played a product registration, and the costs connected with it.
