The article is devoted to topical issues of economic efficiency calculation of investment projects with the purpose of rational investment. Attention is paid to the implementation criteria and peculiarities of investment projects and their pre-selection for inclusion in the investment program of the enterprise. In detail are discussed the issues of investment processes stimulation in industries. Principles to ensure the accuracy of the calculations of economic efficiency of investment projects are described.
