TO THE ISSUE OF REDUCING CROP YIELDS ON ERODED LANDS
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The purpose of this work was to assess the decrease in crop yields depending on the annual probability of excess of the area of development of soil erosion. The performed studies make it possible to use the results to predict the possible value of crop yield reduction depending on the development of soil erosion. This is especially important when planning cost-effective crop production on eroded land. The research results can be used to calculate the economic risks of production depending on the amount of crop yield shortfall.

Keywords:
soil erosion, yield losses, crops, probability of excess
