Abstract.<\/em> <\/strong>As part of the monitoring of heavy metals in the rivers of the Bastak Nature Reserve, concentrations of 8 heavy metals (Zn, Cd, Co, Pb, Ni, Cu, Fe, Mn) were determined for Bol\u2019shoy Sorennak, Bastak, Mitrofanovka, Glinyanka, as well as creeks on Chernukha Mountain. Lead, nickel and cadmium were not found in the rivers and streams of the reserve. Concentrations of heavy metals are higher in lowland rivers (Glinyanka, Mitrofanovka). In them, there is an excess of sanitary standards for the content of manganese and iron. The excess of the standards for the content of iron, manganese, copper and zinc, established for fishery reservoirs, is registered in all the studied rivers, but it is more pronounced in lowland rivers.<\/p>\n
