implemented within the framework of Russian-Chinese cooperation. Foreign direct investment is one of the important sources of financing for the national economy. In recent years, economic relations with the People’s Republic of China have been actively expanding and strengthening. The article shows that in 2021 the volume of trade between our countries reached a historical maximum, and the number of significant investment projects amounted to 65 units with a total volume of 128.380 billion US dollars. The sectoral structure of these projects is analyzed, it is concluded that the main investments are made in manufacturing industries. In 2022, difficulties arose in attracting foreign direct investment related to the sanctions imposed on Russia by Western countries in connection with the conduct of a special military operation in Ukraine. It is shown that the Russian economy remains investment attractive for Chinese investors, which is due to the presence of a variety of resources and a relatively capacious domestic market.<\/p>\n
