В статье изучены характеристики пеностекольного щебня, проведено их сравнение с другими традиционными теплоизоляционными материалами, использующимися в гражданском и промышленном строительстве. В работе обосновываются перспективы применения пеностекольного щебня в качестве дорожного строительного материала в I-III дорожно-климатических зонах, в качестве теплоизоляционного материала при строительстве объектов нефтегазодобычи, нефте- и газопроводов. Также, в работе рассматривается возможность создания предприятия по производству пеностекольного щебня, его экономическая и социальная целесообразность.

The article studies the characteristics of foam glass rubble and compares it with other traditional thermal insulation material used in civil and industrial construction. The paper substantiates the prospects for the use of foam glass rubble as a road construction material in I-III road-climatic zones, as a thermal insulation in the oil and gas production facilities construction, oil and gas pipelines. In addition, the article considers the possibility of creating an enterprise for foam glass rubble producing; it’s economic and social feasibility.
