В статье рассмотрены проблемы формирования региональной социальной инфраструктуры, которая представлена как важнейший элемент ресурсной базы региона. Уточнено понятие региональной социальной инфраструктуры, предложена ее классификация. Анализируются основные проблемы формирования и развития социальной инфраструктуры в России. Предложена структура региональной социальной инфраструктуры. Проанализированы механизмы формирования социальной инфраструктуры региона.
