Статья посвящена исследованию в хронологической последовательности развития саморегулируемых организаций в России. В результате изучения было получено, что данное понятие имеет богатую историю, и в России и Средневековье объединение торговцев можно считать первыми прототипами саморегулируемых организаций. В статье раскрываются преимущества, которые получает организации при вступлении в СРО. Проведен анализ территориального распределения саморегулируемых организаций в нашей стране.

The article is devoted to the study of the chronological sequence of development of self-regulatory organizations in Russia.
