The article provides an analysis of the poultry farming industry of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The possibility of producing biofertilizers using bird droppings is noted. The importance of industrial poultry farming is substantiated, ensuring year-round production of poultry products (eggs and chicken meat). A justification is given for the development of the poultry farming industry in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), especially in terms of meat production. Statistical data on the production of egg products from 1990 to 2022 were analyzed, where an ambiguous picture was established. We note that the increase in egg production is associated with the demand of the regional market, as well as with the technical and technological modernization of poultry enterprises. It should be noted that local production cannot fully cover the shortage of egg products, which is reflected in the level of self-sufficiency not only in egg products, but also in poultry meat products.
