The article presents information on the world labor market. Concepts of labour market, economically active population and international migration are considered. The world labour market is a form of labour migration. This is not only the sum of national markets, but also represents a new qualitative development of the labor market against the background of increasing processes of internationalization of production and increased communication between people. One of the conditions for international labour migration is the uneven distribution of labour between national economies and regions.
