International relations at the present stage are a vital issue. Taking into account the developing globalization, in one way or another, the most diverse ethnic groups are increasingly entering into various cross-cultural contacts. At the same time, existing ethnic stereotypes can both promote communication (if the stereotypes are generally adequate), and interfere with it, influence it for a long time or almost immediately be replaced by direct perception. The intensification of contacts in the field of agriculture requires special understanding in connection with the specifics of agricultural work, the relations that develop on the basis of this, and the manifestation of culture in General. I think that the consideration of the attitude to environmental culture in rural areas on the part of Russians and Italians – in a comparative aspect – is quite relevant.
