The modern economy imposes new requirements to the financial management of agricultural enterprises, so the issues of formation of the financial strategy of poultry enterprises are more relevant today than ever. The paper investigates the features of financial development of broiler enterprises of the Volgograd region, analyzes the current state of the industrial poultry industry in the region, considers its main problems. Including increased competition from manufacturers from other regions of the Russian Federation. The financial analysis of the two main broiler enterprises of the region, a comprehensive assessment of their financial condition, identified problems in the management of financial resources, as well as problems in the management of liquidity and solvency. As components of the financial strategy the measures for effective attraction of investments and allocation of financial responsibility centers in the financial structure of enterprises are proposed.
