Abstract. <\/strong>The article, describes the evolution of approaches to the planning system at the enterprise \u2013 MRP, MRP II, OPT, ERP. Each of the concepts had its disadvantages, and the need to overcome them led to evolution. For example, the MPR concept lacked control over procurement planning and tools for adjusting the plan in case of a change in the situation. Information and analytical systems of the MRP II class have already begun to provide for planning not only inventory, but also made it possible to manage other resources of enterprises. The OPT concept set the task of maximizing output while reducing the volume of inventory by finding the key constraint of the system. The next step was the business planning system Enterprise requirements planning, which covered all the processes of the enterprise.<\/p>\n

At the same time, CRM concepts and e-commerce are gaining more and more popularity recently.<\/p>\n

Thus, it can be stated that a significant inventory management and sales process tools have been developed. However, there is no single approach for all industries and spheres, so it is necessary to configure the control system individually.<\/p>\n

The conducted research allows us to formulate conclusions, according to which in Russian practice the level of use of resource planning systems does not exceed thirty percent for manufacturing industries. The data obtained as a result of the assessment of the speed of implementation of various resource planning systems show that the largest increase in the use of Russian enterprises occurred in 2018, which is explained by the increase in the costs of industrial enterprises for informatization. A review of studies on the analysis of factors that stimulate the growth of the implementation of resource planning systems has shown that the main factor is the availability of highly qualified personnel, which is explained by the complexity of the current use of systems.<\/p>\n
