Summary.<\/strong> State regulation of investment processes in agriculture of the Komi Republic should be carried out on the basis of methodological approaches that ensure the maximum combination of interests of state authorities, business and the population of the region. The development of methodological approaches to investing in agriculture in the Komi Republic should be carried out in accordance with the peculiarities of this industry as a system in the conditions of the region. These are, first of all, long-term characteristics of the economy, determined by natural resources, demographic (primarily settlement) and historical and other external factors. The combined influence of such factors as difficult natural conditions of agriculture and high risks of crop failures due to weather conditions, a small population and a system of rural settlement with a predominance of small settlements far apart from each other, depopulation of the population, etc., forms the system characteristics of agriculture in the Komi Republic, as a kind of “semi-open” system characterized by a large amount of material income (as natural, and financial) from outside the region and the consumption of manufactured products almost exclusively within the region. At the same time, the degree of such “semi-openness” is different in different parts of the region and is due to the nature of intra-regional consumption of agricultural products of own production. As a result, in addition to agricultural enterprises, which are characterized by proximity to the main consumer, a complex of processing enterprises has been formed here, which, thanks to its access to the railway, has become an important source of food products for other municipalities of the republic. This area is the most attractive for investing in agriculture for the purpose of direct profit-making.<\/p>\n
