management in the field of production and processing of agricultural products, so this topic is very relevant today in the Republic of Komi. Studies have shown that raw material producers currently have extremely low production efficiency. The article also reveals the essence of the state program “Development of agriculture and regulation of markets for agricultural products, raw materials and food, development of the fisheries complex”. The main directions in the field of industrial development of the Komi Republic for the period up to 2036 are indicated. The analysis of the features, factors and conditions that stimulate and hinder the development of agriculture is given. The article presents the management functions in the field of production and processing of agricultural products in the Republic of Komi. This article also examines the concepts of rural development proposed by foreign researchers.
