В статье вводится понятие мезомерного эффекта функционирования отрасли на региональную экономическую систему, предлагается классификация отраслей по степени мезомерности, формулируются признаки отнесения отрасли к определенному классу и, на примере региональной отрасли (сферы) обращения с отходами производства и потребления, демонстрируются подходы к оценке мезомерного эффекта отрасли.

The article introduces the concept of the mesomeric effect of the functioning of the industry on the regional economic system. The authors propose a classification of industries according to the degree of mesomerness, formulating signs of classifying the industry to a particular class. On the example of the industry (sphere) of waste management, approaches to assessing the level of the mesomeric effect of the industry are demonstrated.
