Современные темпы роста населения городов вынуждают человечество расширять их территории, создавать промагломерации, возводить на свободных от застройки территориях новые здания и сооружения, необходимые человеку для комфортного существования. Все это приводит к интенсивному увеличению спроса на строительные материалы, а, как известно, увеличение спроса влечет за собой увеличение предложения. Таким образом, в России и в мире на сегодняшний день наблюдается тенденция наращивания объемов производства строительных материалов, что, в свою очередь, ведет к ежегодному увеличению негативного воздействия предприятий, занимающихся производством строительных материалов, на окружающую природную среду.
