Предметом исследования в статье выступает здоровье населения страны и способы повышения его уровня. Здоровье граждан является одним из важнейших показателей для государства. Ориентиром, по которому определяют эффективность системы здравоохранения, является средняя ожидаемая продолжительность жизни, которая выросла за последние несколько лет. В то же время уровень заболеваемости в стране растет, численность больниц и медицинских работников сокращается. Авторами проведено комплексное исследование статистических данных сферы здравоохранения и спорта страны. На примере Ульяновской области рассмотрены эффективные меры, которые могут быть предприняты Правительством в целях снижения заболеваемости граждан.

The subject of the article is the health level of the population and the ways to improve it. The health of the citizens is one of the most important indicators for the Government. Guidance on which the efficiency of the health system is determined is the average life expectancy index, which has grown over the past few years. At the same time, the level of incidence is growing; the number of hospitals and medical stuff is decreasing. The authors conducted a complex research of health statistics and sports in the country. Example of the Ulyanovsk region is considered: these effective measures can be taken by the Government in order to reduce the incidence level among citizens.
