В данной статье рассматривается опыт экономических реформ последних десятилетий в Российской Федерации, а также изменения в сфере науки и образования. Приводятся экономические показатели, характеризующие кризисные явления в советской экономике, приведшие к необходимости осуществления кардинальных рыночных преобразований. Проведена периодизация экономических реформ в России. Указаны причины и наиболее важные шаги в осуществлении рыночных реформ 1990-х и преобразований 2000-х гг. Приведены экономические результаты реформ как 1990-х, так и 2000-х гг. Указаны отличия системы советской и российской науки. Описаны проблемы современной российской науки. Указаны пути повышения эффективности отечественной научной отрасли.

This article discusses the experience of economic reforms in the last decades in the Russian Federation, as well as changes in the field of science and education. The economic indicators characterizing the crisis phenomena in the Soviet economy, which led to the necessity of radical market reforms. The periodization of economic reforms in Russia is carried out.
