The article reveals the procedure and establishes the specifics of the provision of land plots within the framework of the state program «Hectare in the Arctic». Taking into account the specific weight of the northern regions, which account for 70% of the entire territory of the country, its economic potential, in the conditions of rapid globalization of life, along with the growth of the global struggle for resources, spheres of influence on a global scale, the territories of the Arctic of the Russian Federation, are undoubtedly the most important resource of the country. The efficiency of the use of land plots by the considered program makes it possible to bring unused land plots into circulation in accordance with the permitted type and purpose. In reducing unused land plots, it makes it possible to monitor their condition of land resources and implement management decisions aimed at rational use of land. Detailed schemes of the procedure for the provision of land plots, the specifics of their use, taking into account the intended purpose, the type of permitted use and the location of the land plot have been developed. As a result of the analysis, the main advantages of this program are highlighted: the possibility of obtaining a land plot for free use with subsequent registration in ownership or long-term lease, by fast, and what is quite important, free registration of the requested plot; the possibility of self-selection of the location and configuration of the plot; no payments for land for 5 years; no need to incur costs for surveying and others.
