The financial situation of an agricultural enterprise is an important condition for its effective functioning. This calls for ensuring the constant financial solvency of the entity, high accounting liquidity, financial independence and high efficiency of its economic management. In the conditions of a dynamically developing external environment, many Russian enterprises experience certain difficulties in overcoming the crisis. To assess the depth of the crisis, the analysis of the financial condition and the development of specific measures ensuring to restore the financial solvency of the enterprise are carried out. The article discusses the timely use of diagnostic procedures based on financial analysis methods, which is the most important measure allowing the enterprise management to prevent its bankruptcy.
