В настоящее время повышение продовольственной безопасности является одним из важных вопросов, при решении которого молочный комплекс выступает наиболее важным резервом. Продовольственная безопасность страны во многом зависит от снабжения продовольствием ее регионов. В статье выявлены проблемы молочного комплекса и показаны возможности его развития для обеспечения продовольственной независимости региона. Nowadays, improving the food security is one of the most important issues for which the dairy complex is the most important reserve. The food security of a country largely depends on the food supply of its regions. The article identifies the problems of the dairy complex and shows the possibilities of its development to ensure food independence of the region. The directions of improving the provision of dairy products are considered, an economic and mathematical model is developed with which it is possible to evaluate possible scenarios for the development of the dairy complex and choose the most effective ones from them
